NONGAUSS Winter School 2021

NONGAUSS Winter School 2021

In winter 2021, QuantumDTU will co-organise the "NONGAUSS Winter School 2021" with a focus on non-Gaussian physics for quantum technology. The school will take place in the cozy Christmas decorated centre of Copenhagen, Denmark on December 13-17.

About the school

The winter school is organised in the framework of the NONGAUSS "Twinning in non-Gaussian Physics for Quantum Technology" H2020 Twinning project between Palacky University, Sorbonne University, and Technical University of Denmark. The objective of the project is to significantly strengthen the tools and methods of non-Gaussian quantum technology. For further information, please see the project website:

Topics & confirmed speakers

The overlap topic of the school will be non-Gaussian quantum technology and a views on that will be given from a number of different perspectives including

  • Hybrid quantum system
  • Quantum optomechanics
  • Integrated quantum optics
  • Diamond quantum sensors
  • Quantum state engineering with trapped ions
  • Light-matter interaction
  • Quantum dots

We are very pleased to annonce that the following internationally esteemed researchers are confirmed lecturers at the school:
